You have clicked on this page to learn more about me. My name is Sietske and I am 24 years old. Ever since I was a child, I have been reading books, and years later this has not changed. In my daily life, I am busy with books, for example, I am a reviewer for the Boekenkrant and for the Vrouwenthrillers, I have my own reading club on Instagram, and I spend quite a lot of time on my blog and bookstagram.
My blog is not only about books, for the most part, it is, but you can also find a blog post about movies and TV series. I thought it would be nice to combine these two things since I love to watch a TV series or movie in addition to reading. Every now and then you can also find a blog post about social media and my experiences with it.
I started my blog around October 2019 and at the end of 2020, my blog got a complete makeover and made it more extensive than just posting reviews. At the end of 2018, I discovered the world of bookstagram. A world opened for me, so many people who shared their love for books and I had finally found my place. Thanks to bookstagram I also started reviewing books. My first review is quite bad as I had no experience in this. Over the years I have grown and learned a lot with writing reviews. In August 2020 I joined the review team of the Boekenkrant and in December 2020 I joined the team of Vrouwenthrillers. For both, I review monthly a thriller book and you can find my reviews on their websites. I love the book community and because of this, I got to know new friends but also got great opportunities, for example, working with amazing publishers.
