After the events of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, Pip has promised himself never to engage in an investigation again. But then someone close to her is missing. And the only way to find it is to do her own research.
From the first page, the story already draws your interest. Just like A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, the book contains interviews, messages, and Pip’s file notes. This makes the story even more fun to read. Pip is an amazing character to read about. She does not just give up and that is clearly noticeable in the book. She is determined to find out what happened. In addition to the missing person, the book also tells about an event that happened in the first book, which is nice because you want to know how it would end.
The writing style is lovely to read and the story reads smoothly. The events are well described and the plot is well developed. There is also plenty of character development in the story. Besides that, there are some plot twists in the story that you don’t really see coming. I had a suspicion about a certain thing and that turned out to be the case, but that didn’t make the story any less good. Good Girl, Bad Blood is an amazing thrilling young adult mystery. I can’t wait to read more about Pip.
